TERMS OF CONDITIONS
1. The Combined Foursomes is a scratch 72 hole foursomes medal competition, made up of the 36 holes from the Clee Salver and 36 holes from the Brian Lewis, incorporated are Gross and Nett Prizes.
2. Play shall be in accordance with the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, the Club Local Rules and the Competition Rules.
3. Entries shall be made via the SHUGC website and fees must accompany the entry. Entrance fees will not be refunded except for those entrants who have intimated a scratching received before the closing date for entries, or those who have been balloted out.
4. Entrants must be of Amateur Status as defined by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews.
5. Entrants must be a member & have his handicap administered at a SHUGC affiliated Golf Club, i.e. his home club.
6. The Competition Committee may refuse any entry without assigning any reason for so doing.
7. In the event of a tie, prize vouchers will be awarded on the 72 hole scores on a card countback over the last 9, 6, 3 and 1holes of the last completed round. If a tie still arises it shall be decided on the last 9, 6, 3 or 1 holes of the first 9 holes of the last completed round. If a tie still arises, each of the preceding rounds shall be treated in the same way (taking each round in reverse order to that in which they were played) until a decision is reached. If players still cannot be separated, the prize will be shared.
8. Any questions or disputes will be dealt with by the Administrator or the Championship Committee on the day, whose decision shall be final. If the Championship Committee is not satisfied with an explanation for a breach of discipline the competitor concerned will be debarred from entering or taking part in any SHUGC event for such period as the Committee shall decide.
