Shropshire & Herefordshire Union of Golf Clubs     

S.H.U.G.C is the administration for golf in the counties of Shropshire and Herefordshire. Affiliated to the English Golf Union it is our job to look after golf at county level for the 35 golf clubs in the union.

Representing your County

Do you want to represent your County, do you enjoy team and individual matchplay golf, if so then please read on.

Will all of those players who have a playing handicap of 3 or better and would like to get involved with the County teams for 2013 please make contact with the Teams’ Manager, Terry Horobin, whose details can be found on the Players page

THE NATIONAL COUNTY BOOK

From 1st April 2012 we joined the national county book scheme which means your county book will give you a discount at almost all clubs in the English Golf Union. Some clubs will also allow you to use it more than one time.  

From 1st Jan 2013 a county book will be included free with your county sub and will be available at your club from 1st April.
